Bring Back Eros! explores the evolution of the intimate lives of men and women over the age of 40. Must our sexual lives really wane and eventually disappear as we age? Or can we age gracefully with Eros, in the form of sexual intimacy, still alive and awake in our lives? Men and women from age 40 to 103, from diverse cultures, candidly share their most intimate and personal experiences with the evolution of their sexual lives after passing life’s midpoint.

What begins as a conversation with women from all over the globe, expands to include the experience of older men, when after seeing the trailer for our film, they open up to me about their own frustrations with intimacy in our predominantly agist societies. From the men, a common theme emerges—the impact of long-term pornography addiction on their intimate lives. Taking these intensely private issues and opening a public discourse proves to be a gateway for healing for many of the interviewees who share their stories in our film.
